Job Description
Sts Peter & Paul Regional Catholic School is looking for a Middle School English teacher. The ideal candidate would be able to teach the English program for 6th-8th grades. This position may include teaching middle school religion. This teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a challenging, engaging, and relevant curriculum in accordance with school and diocesan guidelines. The teacher will be responsible for the duties of one middle school homeroom. This teacher must also follow all duties and responsibilities as outlined by the mission, vision, and values of the school and the Diocese of Lexington.
Must be able to:

Demonstrate technology skills with Chromebook, Google Suite, RenWeb, etc

Be able to cooperate, contribute, and participate effectively in team meetings

Use data-driven instruction to set goals, action plans, and task-appropriate instruction

Create and plan cross-curricular units with the infusion of real-world activities
Job Requirements

B. A. degree in Middle School Social Sciences

Excellent communication skills

Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Ability to adapt in the professional environment

Must be able to complete assignments, grades, and assessments promptly

Must have excellent classroom management

Completed FBI background check

KY teacher certificate or equivalent
