Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher Assistant (ages 18mos. – 2yrs.) to join our team! We hope to find a candidate with a background in early childcare and a love for helping children grow. As a Toddler Teacher Assistant, you will assist to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students. Your role in collaboration with the lead teacher, will involve utilizing the center-wide curriculum within your classroom, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Responsibilities

● Implement the FunnyDaffer Curriculum within your classroom using materials prepped by the administration.

● Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and respect among students.

● Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

● Follow a daily schedule that ensures children have adequate time for play, routine care, and learning activities.

● Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall goals of the preschool program.

● Communicate and update parents throughout the day using the ProCare Communications app.

● Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

● High School Diploma

● TB Skin Test

● Previous experience working with toddler-age children, preferably within a preschool or daycare setting.

● Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.

● A patient, nurturing demeanor with the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.

● Commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children.
