Good Shepherd Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled 3-Year Old Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, committed to nurturing the whole child, and eager to support the mission of Catholic education.
Our preschool students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn. This role is ideal for a teacher who can create a joyful, structured environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired.
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons
- Support early literacy, math, and social-emotional growth through play-based learning
- Create a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered classroom
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain an organized, well-managed classroom
- Communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with staff and participate in school life
- Integrate Catholic values into daily instruction
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Kentucky certification or CDA (preferred)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong understanding of child development
- Effective communication and classroom management skills
