Job Summary
Seton Regional Catholic School is seeking reliable, dedicated Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of full‑time teachers. Substitute teachers play an essential role in supporting student learning, maintaining classroom routines, and upholding the school’s Catholic mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to deliver effective instruction.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning and student engagement.
- Supervise students during instructional time, transitions, and other assigned periods.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and administration.
- Uphold school policies, safety procedures, and expectations for student behavior.
- Adapt to the needs of various classrooms and grade levels as assigned.
- Support the Catholic identity and faith‑based mission of Seton Regional Catholic School.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; some college coursework or a degree in education preferred.
- Teaching certification or prior teaching/substitute experience helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and classroom‑management skills.
- Flexibility, dependability, and professionalism.
- Ability to follow written lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
- Support for the mission and values of a Catholic school community.
