Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC), the public policy voice of the Catholic Church in Minnesota, invites law students to apply for a unique opportunity to connect their faith with legal practice this fall.
Position Overview
Law clerks will assist MCC staff with public policy and lobbying initiatives across a broad range of issues. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal and policy research
- Drafting legal memoranda and educational materials
- Supporting the development of policy resources
- Gaining hands-on lobbying experience at the Minnesota State Capitol
Clerks should also be prepared to assist with additional projects as needed.
Details
- Duration: September – December 2026
- Compensation: Unpaid; however, a performance-based stipend may be provided at the conclusion of the clerkship
- Academic Credit: MCC is willing to coordinate with your institution to certify hours for internship credit.
- Location: In-person work preferred, based out of our St. Paul office
