St. Lawrence Catholic School is seeking a Campus Minister to support the growth in virtue and discipleship of students as well as teach 8th grade religion. The Campus Minister will work closely with school administration, parish priests, school faculty, students and families to provide guidance, support, and religious education and formation in a school setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in theology, religious studies, education, or related field
- Strong understanding of Catholic faith and teachings
- Experience working with students in a school or ministry setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate religious activities and discussions
- Commitment to forming intentional disciples
Pass a Level II background screening
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead religious education programs for 8th-grade students
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to students on an individual and group basis
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate faith-based principles into the curriculum
- Organize and lead prayer services, retreats, and other religious activities
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students can explore and deepen their faith
- Serve as a resource for students, parents, and faculty on matters of faith and moral development
- Participate in school events and activities to support the overall mission and community spirit
