St. Patrick Catholic school is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic
Second Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a dedicated educator who is passionate about nurturing young learners academically, spiritually, and socially within a vibrant Catholic community.
The ideal candidate will actively integrate the teachings of the Catholic faith into daily instruction, prayer, and classroom life. The second grade teacher plays a special role in preparing students for important milestones in their faith journey, while fostering a deep love for learning and personal responsibility.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering rigorous, standards-based instruction across all core subject areas
- Integrating Catholic values and Gospel teachings throughout the curriculum
- Creating a structured, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Communicating regularly and effectively with families
- Collaborating with colleagues to support schoolwide academic and spiritual goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (minimum)
- Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Practicing Catholic
- Commitment to academic excellence and faith formation
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must pass a Level II Background Screening and complete Safe Environment Training
