Responsibilities
Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a full-time
Primary Teacher for the
2026-2027 school year. This teacher would be eligible to teach in either Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade and have experience working with children at this age. Candidates should be able to fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Job Duties
- Create/revise unit plans with current standards, aligned assessments, differentiated learning activities, technology integration and Catholic values infusion
- Enthusiastically deliver lessons that provide students with knowledge, understanding, and skills to become creative, reflective, literate, critical, and moral citizens
- Prepare students to become expert users of technology who can create, publish, and critique digital products
- Use schoolwide and classroom data to reflect on student understanding of the standards, content, process, and products of the curriculum
- Administer a variety of assessments for student learning that are formative, summative, authentic, project-based, and/or reflective
- Provide students with feedback that aligns to learning goals and impacts student achievement
- Use common assessments and rubrics to evaluate the quality of student work
- Collaborate with other faculty members in professional learning communities and grade level teams to monitor individual, classroom, and schoolwide learning/behavior
Ideal candidates should have experience in a classroom setting or a degree in education and possess strong collaboration and communication skills. This position includes full benefits, with the salary dependent on experience. All candidates must pass a Level II background screening before employment.
