This position will be responsible for filing high level documentation and maintaining cases for the Tribunal Office. A high volume of data entry and research using a designated database is also assigned to the position.

In order to fulfill his mission, the Diocesan Bishop employs suitable, chosen collaborators, who are clerics, religious, and lay people. He shares with them the apostolic mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.
Each position employed in the Diocese of Corpus Christi helps to extend the ministry of the Diocesan Bishop in particular ways as outlined in the job duties and responsibilities. Therefore, this position is closely connected to and assists the Diocesan Bishop in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the church. This is a full-time position eligible for medical insurance and other benefits offered by the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
Areas of Responsibility:

As an integral part of the ministry for the Church, this position will support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of corpus Christi in both professional and personal life
Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic church
Continuously grows in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed
Receives and directs incoming phone calls, emails, mail, and faxes as appropriate
Greets and assists in-person visitors and clients as needed
Processes a high volume of documents related to marriage procedures, dispensations, annulments, and religious contracts
Conducts weekly reviews and updates of all cases checking for missing information, signatures, and dates
Prepares for signature Tribunal correspondence as needed
Tracks correspondence and data pertaining to Tribunal clients in online database
Maintains accurate records for Tribunal Office and safeguards confidential documents ensuring they are filed appropriately
Processes payments for Tribunal Office services
Maintains supplies and equipment inventory for Tribunal Office operations
Performs other duties as assigned

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an office setting
Proficiency with computer applications including databases to enter and track data
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with diocesan policies and procedures
Valid Texas driver’s license

Additional Requirements:
Must successfully complete criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening
Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required
