About the Position: Holy Trinity Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. We are looking for an educator who can introduce our elementary students to the beauty of the Spanish language while fostering an appreciation for Hispanic cultures, all within the framework of our Catholic faith. Curriculum is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver age-appropriate Spanish lessons to elementary-age students (Grades K–6), focusing on foundational vocabulary, conversation, and cultural appreciation.
- Curriculum: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our standards of academic rigor.
- Mission Support: Integrate Catholic values and teachings into the classroom environment.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide feedback that reflects their effort and understanding.
Candidate Requirements
- Faith: Must have a desire to support and promote the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Spanish to elementary-age children is highly preferred. Courses in high school and college with an understanding of pronunciation required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young learners through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Disposition: A collaborative spirit and a commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
