he Director of Auxiliary Services oversees the daily operations and logistics of a 65 acre facility regarding utilization, rental partnerships, and transportation. This role ensures that all auxiliary services—including summer programs, facility rentals, and campus services—align with the school’s Catholic mission, the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, and its commitment to fostering the development of young women. The Director’s responsibilities include strategic partnering, financial oversight, vendor management, licensing compliance, scheduling, student transportation and ensuring a safe, high-quality environment for students and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Management
- Design, market, and manage comprehensive summer camp programs, in collaboration with Admissions, Athletics, Arts and other departments as needed, that complement the NDP student profile and enhance school revenue.
- Oversee relationships with external organizations currently renting or interested in renting campus facilities (e.g., gym, fields, auditorium, classrooms).
- Ensure all auxiliary offerings reflect Catholic values, support the strategic goals of the school, and provide a supportive environment for young women.
- Partner with school stakeholders to coordinate programs, schedule efficiently, and communicate effectively to all relevant parties, including participants and families.
- Coordinate with the Communications and Marketing team to prepare and execute program advertisements and communications through various content outlets.
Operations & Logistics
- Negotiate and manage camp and rental contracts for food services, security, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Oversee transportation related to auxiliary service and daily school bus resources.
- Serve as liaison to the on-campus School Sisters of Notre Dame Convent operation.
- Oversee the general use of campus spaces, including daily use of conference rooms and activity spaces.
- Create procedures and technology systems (e.g. scheduling, transportation) for all auxiliary programs and implement methods that drive efficiency, ease of use, and reliability.
Financial Oversight
- Prepare and monitor annual program budgets, ensuring profitability and fiscal integrity.
- Identify new opportunities for revenue streams that support the school’s long-term goals.
Leadership & Compliance
- Ensure that all auxiliary programs have the appropriate staffing that complies with program regulations related to the activities being conducted (e.g. pool use).
- Ensure all programs comply with appropriate licensing (e.g., camp regulations) and Notre Dame Prep safety protocols.
- Maintain an understanding of screening requirements, including background checks, and ensure that appropriate documentation is completed and filed properly.
- Ensure that all vendors are properly vetted and provide appropriate required documentation.
- Provide training and lead program coordination meetings as needed.
- Will supervise the on-campus Events Manager position.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Experience: minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or school administration, preferably in independent or Catholic school setting.

Skills: Exceptional communication, financial management, and the ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience with leading and managing people.
Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications.

Annual salary is $70,000 to $85,000 based upon degrees and experience.
