Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher for third grade, to educate and inspire young minds at our Catholic school. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, develop lesson plans, and implement a curriculum that reflects our commitment to the Catholic faith. We are looking for an active, participating member of the Catholic Church who can instill these values in our students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Knowledge of educational technology tools
- Experience working with elementary school students
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and integrate Catholic teachings
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that reflects Catholic values
- Assess and monitor student progress, incorporating faith-based assessments
- Communicate effectively with parents, incorporating Catholic values in communication
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to promote a Catholic school community
- Participate in professional development opportunities to further understanding of Catholic education
- Maintain accurate student records and grades
- Uphold school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and faith-filled learning environment
