The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion/Diocese of Green Bay

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate the mission of the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, Inc. by providing general administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities including answering phone calls and messages, receiving and responding to emails, sorting incoming mail, fulfilling pilgrim requests and maintaining general office supplies. This position is also responsible for coordinating several unique Shrine programs.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree and 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must be proficient and have experience with Microsoft Office or similar word processing or spreadsheet tools
- Knowledge of the history and daily operations of the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills essential
- Proficient written/verbal/computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative
- Willingness to work within a larger team
- Able to answer standard questions regarding the shrine and forward all others to the appropriate personnel
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- Flexibility to work outside main responsibilities and outside of core hours for special events at the Shrine
- Dependability and ability to coordinate office coverage with others in the office
- Ability to work with confidential information
