Saint Mary Star of the Sea School in Hampton, VA is currently seeking a Pre Kindergarten/Junior Kindergarten 4 yesr old Early Childhood Teacher. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic role model who is passionate about sharing the Catholic faith and supporting the mission of Saint Mary Star of the Sea Catholic School including the ability to guide student development and formation per the school's mission and vision with compassion, understanding and respect.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and current Commonwealth of Virginia Teaching License
• Possess a strong commitment to Catholic education
• Superior communication skills both written and spoken
• Superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills
• Enthusiasm, positive attitude, flexibility, and hardworking
• Collaborative team player
• Light physical effort required
• Regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods, walk, reach, bend, lift, listen, talk and perform computer key boarding.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of technology as relates to education.
• Knowledge of best practices in teaching.
