The Director will plan music for all liturgies, be the principal accompanist for 3 weekend Masses and all Holy Day Masses and special services.
The Director will build up the Ministry by recruiting and training cantors, and adult and children choir members.
Qualified Candidate will possess great proficiency in playing the organ, piano, cantor coaching, choral conducting and an understanding of the Liturgy.
The Director will incorporate both Latin and English into the appropriate Masses with the use of Gregorian Ordinaries liturgies and planning traditional hymnody as well as contemporary music style when fitting the Mass.
Salary range is $52.4K to 62.4K with eligible benefits to include medical/dental and life insurance; annual sick, and personal leave time as prescribed in the Richmond Diocesan Policy Manual.
