Saint Agnes School is seeking a dynamic and mission-aligned Head Boys Basketball Coach to lead the high school boys’ basketball program beginning in the 2026-2027 season. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and role model who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court in alignment with the Catholic mission of Saint Agnes School.
The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the boys’ basketball program, including coaching, team management, skill development, coordination of lower-level teams, and fostering a positive and faith-filled team culture. The coach will work closely with the Athletic Director and school leadership to ensure that the program supports the school’s mission and promotes the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and servant leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain a boys basketball program that reflects the Catholic values and mission of Saint Agnes School.
· Develop a positive, team-first culture that emphasizes humility, hard work, and respect.
· Organize and lead well-structured, purposeful practices that develop players’ skills and character.
· Hire, mentor, and support qualified assistant and lower-level coaches to ensure program consistency.
· Collaborate with the Athletic Director to coordinate schedules, transportation, and facility use.
· Maintain accurate team records, including rosters, statistics, and equipment inventories.
· Provide clear communication and regular updates to players, parents, and school administration.
· Support student-athletes in their academic success and encourage growth in faith and virtue.
· Assist student athletes who are interested in pursuing basketball at the collegiate level.
· Engage with the broader school community to promote and grow the boys’ basketball program.
· Model Christian sportsmanship and be a visible supporter of Saint Agnes School athletics.
