We are looking for an educator who is passionate about upper-elementary development and committed to fostering a "growth mindset" in a faith-based setting.
Key Qualifications
- Faith Leadership: Must be a practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education and the spiritual formation of students.
- Pedagogical Excellence: Demonstrated strength in teaching foundational literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Classroom Management: Skilled in creating a nurturing, structured environment using Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) to encourage social-emotional growth.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player who communicates effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, standards-based lessons that integrate Catholic values.
- Utilize data to drive instruction and support student achievement.
- Foster a classroom culture of respect, kindness, and academic curiosity.
- Participate in school liturgies, faculty meetings, and professional development.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (Elementary K-6 preferred).
- Experience in a primary or elementary classroom setting.
- Strong technology integration skills.
