Job Summary
Mary Queen of Peace School is seeking a friendly, dependable Teacher Aide for the 2026–2027 school year. This full‑time position supports classroom teachers in creating a positive, caring, and structured environment for students.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Position Summary
The Teacher Aide assists with classroom activities, works with students in small groups, and provides supervision during recess and lunch. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with staff and students, and contributes to a supportive, faith‑filled school community.
Qualifications
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- Enjoys working with school‑aged children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and able to follow teacher direction
- All candidates must meet Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction and assist with daily routines
- Work with students individually or in small groups as directed by the teacher
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and transitions
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
