Position Overview
This is a hands-on, creative role responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day digital marketing efforts of Leaflet Missal and contributing to larger marketing growth projects. The position will begin at approximately 25 hours per week, with opportunities to grow into fulltime for the right candidate. This role is in person at our office in St. Paul, attached to the store. Some hybrid flexibility is possible if needed.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent writer, creatively driven, and shares a sincere appreciation for and alignment with our Catholic mission. This person will not simply complete tasks but should actively contribute ideas and initiatives that help Leaflet Missal grow.
Core Areas of Responsibility
Marketing Planning and Coordination:
- Manage and maintain the marketing calendar (across email, social media, promotions, advertising, and events) in alignment with liturgical seasons and major sales periods
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency
Email Marketing:
- Manage Klaviyo email marketing platform along with one teammate, sending 3-4 emails/week
- Write email copy that is clear, engaging, and ultimately directed towards sales
- Plan email layout, customer segmentation, and scheduling
- Monitor performance and refine strategy
Social Media:
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube profiles
- Post/share consistently 2-4 times/week
- Responsible for managing and replying to all comments and messages
Support Growth Initiatives:
- Propose and execute new marketing ideas
- Plan and execute promotions (sales) throughout the year, especially during major sales seasons (Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Black Friday/Cyber Monday)
- Explore collaborations, events, shoppable social content, and community engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve online credibility, visibility, and customer interaction

We offer over 10,000 faith-based products in our retail store in St. Paul and through our growing online store, CatholicHomeAndChurch.com. As we continue expanding our digital presence, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to help us grow thoughtfully and faithfully.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in digital marketing, social media, and content creation preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Prior retail or faith-based experience is a plus
- Strong drive to grow and expand responsibilities/capabilities
