Position Summary
We are currently seeking one full-time teacher (working part-time at 3 schools (only visiting 2 per day) that is committed to meeting the learning needs of each student in the area of Spanish and is equipped to provide a nurturing learning environment that fosters respect and the love of Christ.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Spanish or with a minor in Spanish) and must be bilingual.
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Proficiency with technology used for teaching and learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Catholic faith is appreciated.
Experience with diverse populations is recommended.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans that promote an engaging, positive, and interactive learning environment.
- Prepare, administer, and evaluate classroom assessments.
- Collaborate and communicate with other teachers regarding student success.
- Review and respond to collected data regarding areas of student strength and areas of improvement.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development seminars, and other meetings as assigned.
- Implement and follow school policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative duties such as but not limited to, grading, discipline, supervision, etc.
