The Director of Music will prepare and execute all aspects of the musical needs for the liturgical life of the parish. Ideally, the Director will have a balanced appreciation for and application of the broader musical tradition of the Catholic faith, including both ancient and more contemporary styles. Above all, the Director will have a good sense of the liturgical life of the Church, understanding the ebb and flow of the seasons, feast days, and special rites. A life of prayer will be the ground and guiding force of the entire ministry.
