Position Summary
The Director of Advancement for St. Anthony Catholic High School (SACHS) provides leadership and strategy in advancement efforts which are in line with the Catholic mission of SACHS. Specifically, position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive advancement program to include oversight of all fundraising, volunteer coordination, marketing, communications, and alumni relations. The Director of Advancement reports directly to the Principal and works collaboratively with school administration and UIW.
St. Anthony Catholic High School prepares young men and women for positions of responsibility and leadership through a college preparatory curriculum based on Catholic values and traditions.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities
- Ability to effectively articulate the values and mission of St. Anthony Catholic High School.
- A strong commitment to and understanding of donor recognition and stewardship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook or equivalent, as well as database management software.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills, to include the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly self-directed with an attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work in an environment that can have frequent interruptions.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills.; proven project management skills.
- Ability to maintain clear, accurate records and prepare accurate and timely reports.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and occasionally work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Required Work Experience
- Three (3) years of professional advancement experience in major gifts, campaigns, planned giving, or other relevant marketing area.
- One (1) year of professional recruitment, marketing or other relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree.
Required Certifications, Licenses Or Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
Work Hours
Mon-Fri 7:30am to 4:30 pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 15lbs for table set-up/tear-down at events, as well as lifting office/marketing/event supplies.
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat to retrieve office/marketing/event materials.
- Ability to push/pull event/marketing carts/wagons holding up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly move about campus and event venues to actively engage faculty/staff/donors/guests/(potential/current) students, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions during select events.
