School/Parish Support Liaison
Support for Catholic Schools
Support for Catholic Schools, Inc, (SCS) a separately incorporated 501 (c) (3) ministry of the
Catholic Diocese of Wichita, is seeking an excellent, self-motivated individual to serve as
School/Parish Support Liaison. This role supports the mission of Catholic education and serves
as a key connection between the parish and school communities, fostering collaboration,
communication, and engagement among families, staff, clergy, volunteers, and parishioners. This
position supports leadership in our schools and parishes in order to promote the services of
Support for Catholic Schools, the official Scholarship Granting Organization of the Diocese of
Wichita.
Qualifications for this opening include the following:
Prefer practicing Catholic in good standing and a steward in one's parish with a
commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, communications, ministry, social services,
or a related field preferred
Experience in education, parish ministry, nonprofit organizations, community
engagement, or administrative support
Must have the ability and willingness to promote and exemplify the Curia Core Values of
Unity in Mission, Discipleship Centered Stewardship and Apostolic Courage
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communication platforms
Commitment to the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church
Must have the ability to work some evening/weekends and to travel outside the Wichita
area as needed
Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills with the ability to engage others
in the mission of Catholic Schools
Previous experience in event planning and organization with good time management and
problem solving skills
