Job Summary
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Good Shepherd Children & Family Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Foster Care Specialist to provide case management services to children and families in the custody of, or under the supervision of, the state child welfare agency. This position is responsible for promoting the safety, permanency, and well-being of children through assessment, advocacy, service coordination, family engagement, and permanency planning. The Foster Care Specialist works collaboratively with children, parents, caregivers, community partners, and the court system to support stable placements, strengthen family connections, and achieve positive outcomes for children and families. Guided by the mission and values of Catholic Charities and the teachings of the Catholic Church, this role is committed to connecting children to families, preserving family relationships whenever possible, and ensuring services are delivered with dignity, compassion, and respect. This position is located in and serves Jefferson County, MO.
