Director of Liturgy and Music
St. Columbkille Parish is seeking a faithful, collaborative, and enthusiastic individual to serve as our full-time Director of Liturgy and Music. We are searching for the right candidate to lead and enhance the liturgical life of our parish by ensuring that our worship is prayerful, welcoming, and rooted in the rich traditions of the Catholic Church.
The Director of Liturgy and Music provides leadership for the parish's liturgical and music ministries, working collaboratively with clergy, staff, and volunteers to plan and coordinate Sunday Masses, Holy Days, sacramental celebrations, and other special liturgies. This position directs the parish music ministry while fostering active participation in worship through beautiful, reverent liturgy and the formation of volunteer musicians and liturgical ministers.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Catholic liturgy, a bachelors degree (masters preferred) in a related field, demonstrated musical ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for helping others encounter Christ through beautiful and reverent worship.
