Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Fredericksburg, VA, for an Elementary School Teacher. The Elementary School Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum standards. Day-to-day tasks include teaching core subjects, engaging students in interactive activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining effective communication with parents and staff. The teacher will actively foster student development in academics, social skills, and values in alignment with the school’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
- Proficient Teaching skills with experience in classroom management and lesson planning
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for Education and working with children in an engaging, professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for the state of Virginia is preferred
- Experience working in a faith-based education setting is a plus
