Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position at Holy Family School in Huntsville, AL. The Middle School Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science instruction, developing detailed lesson plans, and ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies, assessing student performance, and maintaining open communication with students, parents, and colleagues. The teacher will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation in the sciences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Science Education and experience teaching middle school students
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Strong Communication abilities for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and interactive classroom environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification for middle school science or credentials to obtain a teaching certification in the State of Alabama
- Passion for fostering a love for science and learning in students
