St. Ursula School, located in Parkville, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Media Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The Media Resource Teacher will coordinate and oversee all library and media services. This role encourages a love of learning and promotes the efficient operation of the Library Media Center in conjunction with student technology usage.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and evaluate existing and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning within a school setting.
- Oversee and manage the online lending library database.
- Communicate and train students and staff on accessing library services.
- Orient users to materials, equipment, and educational software.
- Network with other libraries and media specialists to provide access to alternate resources and databases.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media Education, Library Science or related field.
- Knowledge of a variety of educational technology platforms, such as Turnitin.
- Experience managing and overseeing Library Resources including catalog database, research database, etc.
- Experience working within an educational setting is preferred.
Range: $30,000 – 35,000, Annualized
