Immaculate Conception School in Towson, Maryland, is looking for a qualified full-time 5th Grade Social Studies Teacher to join its school community. The Social Studies Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Pre-K3 to 8th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Essential Functions
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students.
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
- Integrate technology into the classroom.

Serve as the 5th grade homeroom and religion teacher, fostering students’ academic, spiritual, and social development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members in educating students.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Current or pending MSDE certification.
- Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000, Annualized
