Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School is looking for someone who loves children and is passionate about Catholic education. This role will assist in one of our preschool classrooms and our before-school program. Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30pm *REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: (OLL+, before care)

Supervise all activities children attending the OLL+ program during program hours.
Provide a safe, positive environment for students in the OLL+ program.
To administrate the OLL+ food service program by providing supplies, serving the students, and complying with all State and County food handling regulations.
Assisting the teacher in any other appropriate ways, always watching where help could be needed. This includes trips to the bathroom and assisting with ill children;

Helping with general housekeeping tasks (cleaning room equipment and toys);
Treating all children with dignity and respect;

*REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:(Preschool Teacher Assistant and school assistant)

The primary tasks of the preschool classroom assistant are to prepare the classroom for each group, to assist the teacher, and to clean up when the class is over or to re-set for the next class.
When class is not in session the aide will be responsible for the room organization, supply lists, lesson preparations and assisting the teacher with daily tasks.
Assisting the teacher in the general supervision and management of a class of preschool children (be involved with the children, welcome the children and parents when they arrive, assist children who have trouble separating from parents, etc…);
Supervising the classroom when the teacher is out of the room;
Helping with general housekeeping tasks (cleaning room equipment and toys);
Treating all children with dignity and respect;
Understanding all school policies and working accordingly;
Prepare snack and lunch trays for preschool students;
Clean up area after snack and lunch;
