Corpus Christi Catholic School (PreK4-8th) is seeking a fulltime School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year.

Minimum Qualifications And Skills Include

Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
State certification or licensure as a School Counselor or related field Strong communication and interpersonal skill. Empathy and the ability to establish rapport with elementary aged students. Knowledge of counseling techniques and best practices.

Experience

3 or more years of experience working in an elementary educational setting preferred

Responsibilities Include

Conduct individual and group social/emotional learning opportunities for students
Collaborate with teachers and parents to address student needs and concerns
Provide crisis intervention/referral services as needed
Consult with teachers and school staff to create strategies for student success
Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions and progress

This position requires a Level II background screening and mandated Safe Environment trainings.
