St. Gregory the Great Catholic School is seeking a qualified, committed candidate for the position of Director of Enrollment and Advancement. Under the direction of the Principal, the Director of Enrollment and Advancement supports St Gregory the Great Catholic School in their local recruitment, enrollment and retention efforts. The Director of Enrollment and Advancement uses Archdiocesan-wide assessment methods and practices to document and address the needs of the school in order to ensure an effective and comprehensive approach to recruitment and to drive retention and enrollment initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Provide on-site direct support (i.e., coaching) to Principal to evaluate, improve, reinvent and implement recruitment, enrollment and retention strategies specific to their campus and community.
- Assess and analyze school’s recruitment, enrollment and marketing strategies in collaboration with school leaders to develop a strategic recruitment and marketing plan supported by regular, quarterly visits and follow-up.
- Assist school in systematically collecting and analyzing a variety of data (e.g., school website content and traffic, response/effectiveness of print and electronic advertisements, FACTS Online Enrollment) to drive school branding and marketing decisions.
- Track, analyze and evaluate student demographic data for the purposes of improving student retention, enrollment and Archdiocesan objectives in marketing.
- Remain knowledgeable in current trends, research and best practices in the areas of recruitment, enrollment and retention to translate findings into strategies appropriate to Archdiocesan goals and professional development opportunities for school leaders.
- Provide Principal and Pastor with feedback based on data analysis to modify school branding, marketing strategies and, therefore, increase enrollment.
- Facilitate communications and marketing efforts with third party vendors.
- Coordinate the use of state and federal title or grant monies allocated to Catholic schools, ensure alignment to Archdiocesan curriculum, instruction, and assessment initiatives to ensure product of Catholic school education is highlighted in all marketing and enrollment efforts.
- Manage and oversee the grand and aid for tuition assistance scholarships
- All other duties as assigned by the Principal and Pastor
Requirements
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree in Marketing or other related field preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience as an administrator in admissions or recruitment, in a Catholic or private school preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and public speaking communication skills required
- Ability to analyze data and use data to make data-driven decisions
- Experience with FACTS administrative use (e.g., Online Enrollment) preferred
- Practicing Catholic preferred

SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment; planning and managing projects; utilizing pertinent software applications (e.g., FACTS Online Enrollment) and social media tools; effective listening; problem solving; training; and supervision.

Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: current generation and emerging technology, social media and messaging methods; and English grammar/punctuation/ spelling/vocabulary.

Ability is also required to work with a diverse populations of individuals and/or groups; work with a variety of data; and utilize a variety of types of job-related equipment.
