Job Summary
St. Francis Borgia High School is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to support its mission by planning, guiding, and evaluating student learning within the framework of the school’s Catholic philosophy, curriculum, and academic standards.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging science lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

Deliver effective instruction and assess student learning and performance

Evaluate and adapt instructional materials for student needs and grade appropriateness

Maintain a positive, organized, and faith-centered classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success

Foster students’ intellectual, social, and faith development

Monitor and communicate student progress regularly

Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education required

Valid teaching certification required

Strong knowledge of high school science content

Effective communication and classroom management skills

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
