Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Executive Director to lead innovative after-school and summer programs that empower students, families, and communities. This energetic leader will drive strategic planning, foster strong partnerships, and oversee program operations to ensure high-quality educational enrichment. As a senior leader, you will inspire teams, manage resources effectively, and cultivate an environment of continuous improvement to maximize student success and community engagement.
The Training Center is a 21st Century Community Learning Center that provides experiential out-of-school learning opportunities to complement student’s regular academic programs. The program offers free homework assistance, tutoring, social emotional learning (SEL), and other educational enrichment services to families of participating students in Kindergarten-8th grade who attend Marion Community Schools, St Paul Catholic School, and Lakeview Christian School.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance 21st CCLC programs, aligning with community needs and educational goals
- Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of program staff, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team
- Cultivate partnerships with schools, local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to support program growth and sustainability
- Oversee program operations, including budgeting, compliance with federal and state regulations, and reporting requirements
- Drive business development initiatives to secure funding opportunities, grants, and sponsorships for program expansion
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and process improvements to optimize efficiency and impact
- Lead negotiations with partners and vendors to secure resources, services, or collaborations that benefit the program
Requirements
- Proven management experience in educational programs or community-based initiatives with a focus on youth development
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to set clear goals and execute action plans effectively
- Demonstrated senior leadership capability in managing teams, budgets, and complex projects
- Excellent negotiation skills for building partnerships and securing resources
- Experience in business development to identify new funding streams and growth opportunities
- Skilled in project management tools and techniques to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency
- Ability to lead operations management while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Exceptional leadership qualities with a passion for community service and youth empowerment

Pay: $49,666.00 - $62,096.00 per year
