St. Theresa Catholic School is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 School Year for the position of Full-Time Middle School Language Arts Teacher
Reports to: Principal
Responsibilities:
- Provide for the spiritual, moral, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of the children of St. Theresa School (STS) through the teaching of Language Arts.
- Help live, instill and motivate the Mission of STS
- Maintain professional, charitable, cooperative and respectful relationships with all members of the STS community
- Serve as a homeroom teacher to include supervising during Mass and assemblies
- Establish and maintain effective discipline
- Be well prepared for all assigned courses
- Carry out duties in a responsible manner regarding curriculum, co-curricular activities, safety, and other assigned tasks
- Use technology and incorporate it in teaching and related duties
Qualifications
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure - English/Language Arts endorsement
- Or hold a VCEA license
- 3 Years’ experience is preferred
- Must be Catholic
