As a division of As It is In Heaven, RP is a premier mobile wellness experience serving the greater Hinsdale and Oak Brook areas, offering bespoke, concierge-level massage therapy. Headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, we bring the spa to you—elevating your home, office, or private event into a sanctuary of serenity and restoration. You should consider joining if you desire to build both a ministry and a wellness practice while being supported by an established ministry infrastructure. As It is In Heaven provides support in the areas of sales, marketing, scheduling, financial administration, legal structure, and operations so that the Missionary Disciple can focus on serving clients and growing in their calling.
This position also includes accommodations in the Gomez household, where food and gas will be provided while you build your client base and ministry. In addition, you will receive mentorship and spiritual formation directly from Christopher Gomez and Mark Kollar. They will personally train you in:
- the gifts of the Holy Spirit including how to pray for physical healing, deliverance, and prophetic ministries
- how to evangelize via the gospel of Jesus Christ
- discipling new believers
This role is ideal for someone who feels called to integrate professional wellness care with healing ministry and evangelization while serving within a Spirit-led Catholic ministry. Through massage therapy services, the Missionary Disciple will develop trusted relationships with clients seeking physical relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness. As these relationships grow, opportunities will naturally arise to pray for the sick, offer spiritual encouragement, and introduce clients to deeper healing through Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality professional massage therapy services in residential, office, or private event settings throughout the western suburbs of Chicago.
- Conduct client consultations and assessments to tailor each session to individual therapeutic needs while maintaining professional therapeutic boundaries.
- Create a calm, respectful, and restorative environment for each client encounter.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients by delivering consistent, compassionate, and professional care.
- When appropriate and welcomed by the client, offer prayer for physical healing, emotional restoration, and spiritual encouragement.
- Participate in mentorship, training, and formation under Christopher Gomez & Mark Kollar to grow in the charisms of healing, deliverance, and evangelization.
- Represent As It Is In Heaven with professionalism, discretion, and Christ-centered integrity in all interactions.
- Maintain proper documentation of services as required for professional standards and operational needs.
- Collaborate with the As It Is In Heaven operations team regarding scheduling, availability, and client coordination.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment within client spaces.
- Adhere to all applicable Illinois laws, professional licensing requirements, and ethical standards governing massage therapy.
- Protect client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Serve as a witness to Christian charity, compassion, and excellence in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Must agree to the exclusion of practices rooted in reiki, energy work, or other spiritual systems incompatible with Christian teaching.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Illinois Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license in good standing.
- Must maintain all required licensure, continuing education, and professional certifications required to practice in Illinois.
- Must pass any required background screening prior to providing services.
- Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client homes, offices, or private venues within the greater Chicago western suburbs.
- Must be willing to operate within a Christian ministry environment and respect the mission and values of As It Is In Heaven.

- Strong knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques, anatomy, physiology, and contraindications.
- Ability to deliver massage therapy that promotes physical relief, relaxation, and overall wellness.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with ministry leadership and operations staff.

- Physical ability to safely perform massage therapy services, including standing, bending, applying sustained pressure, and transporting necessary equipment.
Missionary Partnership & Support Raising
Because this role is a form of missionary service, each Missionary Disciple is asked to build a small team of ministry partners who support their personal living expenses.
Support raising is not fundraising but partnership building. Missionary Disciples invite friends, family, and members of their faith community to participate in the mission through prayer, encouragement, and financial support.
The AiiiH ministry will cover ministry-related expenses including gas, lodging, and meals. Missionary Disciples are responsible for raising approximately $2,000 to cover their own living expenses such as personal spending, student loans, and other personal financial needs until their massage fees cover their financial needs. This is estimated to be within the first three months of employment.
Compensation Structure
This role operates as an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling. Compensation is based on per-session earnings with consistent booking opportunities provided through the ministry’s marketing and client acquisition systems.
Room and board at one of the ministry leaders’ homes will be provided pro bono while the Missionary Disciple builds their client base.

This allows the Missionary Disciple to focus on serving clients, growing spiritually, and participating in the healing mission of the ministry.
