Events and Engagement Manager
Location: Dedham
Salary: $55-$60k

Events and Engagement Manager - Key Points and Experience
Role Overview:
- Lead signature fundraising events and parent/community engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to enhance event fundraising and parent engagement, supporting the school's advancement efforts.
- Requires multitasking, attention to detail, collaboration, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree, 2-3 years in special events or advancement, knowledge of fundraising principles, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to pass a background check.
- Experience in independent schools or higher education, familiarity with Raiser's Edge and NXT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Leadership:
- Plan and execute major fundraising events (e.g., galas, golf tournaments) to support the school's budget.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, vendor relations, facilities, and staffing.
- Develop marketing materials and define target audiences.
- Secure sponsors, donors, and participants in collaboration with the Advancement team.
- Track outcomes and manage post-event communications.
- Community Engagement:
- Strengthen the Parents Guild by recruiting and supporting volunteers and leaders.
- Act as the Advancement liaison for commencement and large campus events.
- Support staff appreciation events and Catholic Schools Week activities.
- Reporting and Collaboration:
- Provide updates to school leadership and committees.
- Assist with additional Advancement events and projects.
- Travel as needed for responsibilities.
