Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Knoxville, TN, for a Director of Development. The Director of Development will lead fundraising efforts, including developing and executing strategies to secure philanthropic contributions through various campaigns, annual giving, planned giving, and events. Responsibilities include managing donor relationships, overseeing budgets, identifying new funding opportunities, and fostering relationships with community partners. The role involves creating and directing campaigns that align with CCETN's mission while ensuring efficient coordination with the organization's programs and services to achieve sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies
- Proven expertise in Fundraising and building long-term donor relationships
- Knowledge of Philanthropy and stewardship principles and practices
- Experience in budgeting and financial planning for development campaigns
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field
- Experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred
