The Senior Manager for Renewal Resources (SMRR) supervises the development, alignment, and deployment of resources across office initiatives to provide real and relevant support for parishes in their journey from maintenance to mission. In this role, the SMRR will lead the Renewal Workshop Team to strategically deliver at scale resources through workshops, trainings, and one-off events. The SMRR will also oversee the development and delivery of asynchronous resources that can be used by parishes without office support.
As a key leader in the Office for Parish Renewal, the SMRR will assist with the discernment of renewal priorities and the strategic implementation of those priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manages the development, organization, and deployment of renewal content across the Office for Parish Renewal (OPR) team
- Oversees the development of new content, working closely with project teams both internal and external
- Organizes renewal content in an accessible, user-friendly way
- Ensures that content resources are being used consistently across all teams within OPR
- Directs the strategy and delivery of at scale renewal resources, including renewal workshops and momentum builders
- Leads the Renewal Workshop Team, supervising team members and managing resources of the team to align with office priorities
- Secures and prepares presenters for workshops
- Provides project management support for renewal workshops
- Manages development and distribution of asynchronous resources such as momentum builders and other resources parishes can use without hands on support
- Serves as a core member of the Office for Parish Renewal to ensure alignment across efforts and support renewal implementation in all parishes
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working on a parish staff or supporting parishes in a diocesan role
- Team leadership abilities to effectively execute on projects and initiatives
- Some public presentation skills, particularly in an ecclesial setting
- Personal commitment to the mission of evangelization and work of supporting parishes and priests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on a team
- Bachelor’s or advanced ministry degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred skills and experiences
- Supervisory experience
- Spanish language fluency

This position has an annualized salary range of $76,238.41 - $95,298.02. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
