Primary Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Science to students in:
- A multi-age middle school classroom
- A small 9th–10th grade high school cohort
- Teach additional subject areas as assigned, based on strengths and school needs
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that meets the needs of students at varying academic levels
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on learning, problem-based instruction, and technology-enhanced lessons
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families
- Collaborate with faculty to support cross-curricular learning and student growth
- Foster a classroom environment that supports academic excellence, faith formation, and positive student relationships
- Support the continued development and growth of our high school program
- Promote and embody Christian values and virtues in keeping with the magisterial teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.
Additional Teaching & School Responsibilities
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
- Communicate effectively with parents, administration, and colleagues
- Uphold and model the values and mission of Catholic education
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching middle school and/or high school Math and Science is preferred
- Comfort and confidence teaching in a multi-age classroom setting
- Ability to adapt instruction for small class sizes and individualized learning
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Supportive of the mission and values of a Catholic school (practicing Catholic is not required but preferred).
Pay: $35,000.00 per year
