St. Genevieve Elementary, a small Catholic school community in the San Fernando Valley, is looking for experienced para-professionals or those who are seeking a Bachelor's degree in education. Has the desire to become a teacher and/or in education in the near future. Preferably strong in primary grade levels. Part-time approximately 5 hour per day.
Instructional Aide/Daycare Responsibilities:
- Lead small intervention groups under the direction of the classroom teacher.
- Supervise students on the playground to ensure safety.
- Help students with classwork/homework on a daily basis and engage students in educational games.
- Navigate educational sites and apps and use email correspondences
- Has a strong, confident presence, authoritative voice, and clear communication skills.
- Daily work attire - business casual
