Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Director located in Greater Houston. The Associate Director will oversee and guide initiatives that align with the mission and vision of the Archdiocese. Responsibilities include managing projects, leading teams, developing strategies for program implementation, and fostering collaborations with parishes and community organizations. They will also ensure compliance with Archdiocesan policies and facilitate outreach efforts to effectively serve the community.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience leading teams and overseeing projects
- Strategic planning and program development abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with diverse communities
- Knowledge of the Catholic faith and a commitment to supporting the mission of the Church
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and policy implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus
- Experience working within a nonprofit or church setting is preferred
