St. Cecelia Interparochial Catholic School is seeking a teacher assistant for elementary age students for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates for this full-time position should support the mission of Catholic Education. Applicants should have good communication and organizational skills. The assistant works under the direction of the classroom teacher, principal and assistant principal. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with attendance and classroom routines
- Reinforce lessons, concepts, and skills one-on-one with students or in small groups
- Assist the teacher with collating and distributing materials
- Help keep the classroom clean and orderly
- Copy work as needed
- Help supervise students in classes, during transitions, during lunch and recess
- Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behavior
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening.
