Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager
Reports to Facilities Operations Director
Status: Full Time (Salary)
Exempt (Not eligible for overtime)

Position Summary

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for the effective and safe maintenance, renovation, and daily operation of all Parish buildings and grounds. This role blends technical maintenance with administrative oversight reporting to Facilities Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

Supervises and ensures Facilities staff provides adequate scheduling coverage.
Engage with Facilities staff as needed to support liturgical events & activities.
Reviews and approves timecards (Exponent HR).
Coordinates maintenance work orders with lead technician.
Instructs Facilities staff on safety standards, new maintenance procedures and practices an materials.
Formulates the training plan and assists in the training of the Facilities staff.
Participates in the process of hiring and termination of Facilities staff.
Performs staff reviews.
Oversee the maintenance & repair of Parish owned vehicles & residences.
Meets weekly with the Facilities Operations Director to review operational opportunities

Key Qualifications

A practicing Catholic is desirable with a commitment to the mission of the Church.
3-5 years in facility or property management, preferably in a non-profit or campus setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, building management software, facility scheduling & work order systems.
Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and work in various climate conditions.
Candidates must undergo Safe Environment training as well as fingerprinting as part of the background check process.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience
Bilingual skills a must (English/Spanish)

Special Requirements

Normal work week is a 40-hour schedule, Monday – Friday, 8:30 pm – 4:30 pm, but required to be on-call should the Facilities Operations Director be unavailable
Work on weekends is sometimes required for holidays or special Parish or School events
