Brief Job Description: The Eternal Flame Catholic Community is seeking an experienced and hands-on Family Facilities & Maintenance Manager to provide the care, maintenance, safety, and appearance of our churches, rectories, schools, grounds, and other properties across the Family. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, managing projects, and taking pride in well-maintained facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance for multiple facilities and properties that make up Nativity of Our Lord in Orchard Park, St. Bernadette in Orchard Park and SS Peter & Paul in Hamburg
• Supervise and support maintenance, custodial, and grounds staff.
• Coordinate repairs, contractors, vendors, and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain buildings, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, security, and safety systems.
• Oversee landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, snow removal, and year-round grounds care.
• Ensure churches and facilities are clean, safe, welcoming, and prepared for worship, school activities, weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Develop maintenance schedules, manage work orders and records, and help oversee the facilities budget.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety, building, and fire regulations.
Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to support the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
Salary: $60,000 – 75,000 annually
