Summary
Works with staff and volunteers to create age-appropriate environments and materials for Elementary aged children to discover God, His Story and their place in it, with a focus on grades Kindergarten through 2 nd grade at the Blankenbaker campus. Oversees volunteers and looks for opportunities to equip parents to become the primary disciple-makers in their homes. In all things, carries out the mission, vision, and values of Southeast Christian Church.

What You Will Be Doing
- Recruits, processes, trains, and shepherds volunteer leaders to minister to children and families; coordinates the onboarding and scheduling of volunteers.
- Writes and edits curriculum for small group environments in ways that engage children.
- Assists with setup and prep for weekend services.
- Checks in volunteers and children on the weekends; solves problems and helps the team, as needed.
- Assists in planning and executing events for children and volunteers.
- Responds to daily emails and phone calls from volunteers, parents, and others.
- Performs administrative tasks, as needed.

Our Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience organizing and leading volunteers.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.

- Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving.
