Role Description
The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with academic standards and the school’s Biblical foundation. Daily responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching core subjects, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The teacher will foster a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and school events. The role also involves integrating faith-based perspectives into learning activities, supporting students’ spiritual and personal growth, and collaborating with other staff on school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement effective Curriculum Development that aligns with Elementary Education standards and school values.
- Demonstrated Teaching experience in Elementary Education, with skill in adapting instruction to diverse learning needs.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues, and for clear instructional delivery.
- Background in Education or a related field, with knowledge of child development and best practices for K–8 instruction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline; valid teaching certification for elementary grades preferred.
- Experience working in faith-based or values-driven educational settings is beneficial.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively, use basic educational technology, and maintain organized records.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment and supporting the academic and personal growth of all students.
