Position SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, faith-based, vision-driven YJP Program Developer & Facilitator who blends classroom passion with a builder mentality. This position plays a key role in delivering high-impact programming to youth across Cleveland. This individual should bring initiative, creativity, cultural awareness, and a collaborative spirit to every session. They will facilitate engaging, SEL-informed lessons aligned with YJP’s curriculum while also helping shape and expand the program based on student needs and feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Dynamic Facilitation & Instruction: Deliver interactive, SEL-informed lessons (in-school) as well as faith-based leadership/mentorship programming (out-of-school) aligned with key workforce frameworks (NACE Competencies, Employability Skills Framework, P21, CASEL SEL, CTE) to equip students with college and career skills.
- Data Analysis & Student Retention: Maintain accurate student progress evaluations, attendance, and reporting metrics while utilizing data analysis to refine instruction and program design.
- Strategic Growth & System Building: Support continuous program improvement by identifying operational gaps, building scalable systems, researching workforce/education trends, and managing project timelines.
- Partnership & Community Engagement: Develop authentic relationships with Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) schools, local employers, and nonprofits to cultivate student placement opportunities and extend program reach.
- Mission-Driven Leadership: Serve as an ethical role model, embodying integrity, humility, and servant leadership grounded in Scranton Road Ministries' Christian mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills- Experience: 3+ years in college/career readiness and workforce development. Classroom facilitation experience as well as experience serving historically underserved youth preferred.
- Education:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Education, Workforce Development, Youth Services, or a related field
- Mindset & Leadership: Strategic thinker with a builder mentality, critical thinker, proactive problem solver, highly organized, accountable, and an excellent communicator.
- Schools & Networks: Familiarity with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (or similar) and regional employer/community networks is preferred.
- Technical & Pedagogical Competency: Proficient in Google Workspace, presentation tools (e.g., Canva), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) practices, trauma-informed approaches, and data analysis.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license, successful BCI/FBI background check, and alignment with the mission and faith values of Scranton Road Ministries CDC.

Time Commitment: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive, Commensurate with experience, Health Insurance, 401k
