St. Joseph School, Cockeysville has an opening for a dynamic Intermediate Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The classroom teacher will be responsible for all aspects of the class, including collaborative planning with the grade-level partner, grading, classroom management, and communication with families. The successful candidate will hold a current Maryland State Teaching Certificate and have experience working with elementary-aged students. Compensation will be determined based on experience and education.
Essential Functions
- Implement the curriculum using a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students
- Assess and grade student work, including the use of PowerSchool
- Manage the classroom and fulfill all duties assigned to the position
- Participate as a member of the faculty in all meetings and activities
- Collaborate with school leadership and the broader faculty to foster a positive school culture
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- MSDE certification
- Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching
- Knowledgeable in the use and integration of technology
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms

Pay Range: $45,000 - $60,000, Annualized
