The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston is looking to fill the position of School Nurse for its School Based Health Program. This is a part-time position requiring 30 hours per week during school weeks. The position is located at St. Vincent de Paul School, St. Michael Parish School, Wheeling Central Catholic High School, and Our Lady of Peace School. The School Nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school health services within the context of the School Based Health Program. The successful candidate will have an LPN degree and will be under the direct supervision of the School Based Health Nurse Supervisor. Pediatric, adolescent, or public health experience is desired. The individual must be able to function within the scope of practice under the guidance of the Nurse Supervisor and School Based Health Coordinator.
